Precious Little Clare Valley Riesling 2023

Share

For Clare Valley wine producers, 2023 was definitely a lucky number. It notched up the third great Clare Valley Riesling vintage in succession, a truly rare event and one that should excite every Australian Riesling lover. The ’23 vintage brought a lovely natural purity of fruit to this wine. Great concentration of lime through out: lime zest, lime cordial, lime juice. It’s joined by citrus blossom aromatics, grapefruit and talc aromas. Acidity is bright, zesty and fresh, it will put the Riesling in good stead on its journey. The palate zings in lemon tang, spiced apple and the crunch of green apple. Good drinking now, but if you can wait . . .
