From some of the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines still growing anywhere. This excels in Barossa Cabernet elegance. Bruise purple in colour. A nose filled with smoky blueberry and blackberry fruit, fine pencil shavings and pastille on the pull away. Varietal after-dinner mint, touches of vanilla oak, heady violets and silty earth complete the picture. Finely knitted tannins underpin a silky wine of exceptional concentration. Demonstrates a precise length through the juicy finish with a ferrous steely line. Top notch Barossa Cabernet indeed.
