Made from fruit grown on the banks of Greenock Creek, this is a typically bold Barossan expression. It is deeply coloured and flavoured but also has great detail and complexity. It is bright, deep ruby and has dense aromatics – blackberry, baked earth, licorice and barbequed meats supported by well-integrated oak. The wine is then dry and quite firm with mouth-coating tannins well-matched with concentrated fruit. The wine is also youthful and immaculately balanced finishing long and even with a touch of elegance. Balance is the key that will see this wine sing for years.
