This 2022 Cabernet is bold for Coonawarra but still holds its shape admirably. Powerful slaty blackcurrant aromas are lifted by touches of oregano and bay leaf with sweet blackberry in support. Dry, sturdy and strong with a dense core of drying tannins accented by juicy acidity. Generous ripeness but all kept in check nicely with cherry liqueur accents to finish.
