Hastwell & Lightfoot 38 Days Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Share

A small production red blend that takes its name from 38 days maceration to develop greater depth and intensity. Intense red fruit aromas displaying a subtle brick dust and spicy plum combination. It’s intriguing. Then the palate, which is medium weight, reveals a slightly dusty savoury influence on the intense red berry and dark plum flavours supported by a firm core of fine chalky tannins. The use of older French oak seems the ideal choice to capture the best of the fruit.
