Riposte The Cutlass Shiraz 2024

Share

There is a vibrancy of fruit, a brisk-ness of taut tannins, of movement to this wine that fits in well with its name. As such, after a taut start the longer the wine remained open, over three days, the more it became alive each day. There is an earthiness that brings a sense of place. So, too, the spice, the medium bodied nature of the wine, the cocoa notes, dark herbs and sage, the vanillin touches, the red liquorice in harmony with ripe black fruits, plum and black cherries, that brings a sense of cooler climate style shiraz to the glass. A serious Shiraz that will age well.
