Riversdale Estate Crater Chardonnay 2022

A selection of the best barrels. Mid gold. Roasted nuts, plush stone fruits peach and nectarine aromas with melon, citrus and a mighty fine spiciness that just about steals the show. As a three-year-old it’s travelling nicely, coming together on the palate and delivering a bit of a wow moment with its ripe stone fruits, woody spices, almond buttery-ness and background oak presence allayed to pared back acidity. There’s concentration and textural layering making it a good food wine.
