Risky Business King Valley Pinot Gris 2020

Share

The cool and fertile hills of the King Valley have a long and proud winemaking history particularly with Italian and aromatic grape varieties. And while the local pinot grigio is well known, the King Valley also makes a good home for the richer and more aromatic pinot gris. This wine is pale in colour and shows generous, exotic spicy pear fruits in a bright, youthful and inviting style. It is then dry and textural – rounded fruit is well balanced by crisp acidity and lifted by a touch of savoury earth. It is a good introduction to pinot gris and well suited to enjoying with a spicy pork stir fry.
