Rock Ferry Aurora Creek Marlborough Chardonnay 2021

The fruit for this wine is sourced from Marlborough. As New Zealand Chardonnays go, it shows slightly less worked character than you’d often see, yet it’s still there with a little textural influence from time on lees and in oak, and some wild yeast fermentation. It also went through malolactic fermentation, which has controlled the acidity and contributed to its creamy textural middle palate. Light stone fruit, a lift of citrus, and a slightly nutty character contribute to a fine wine.
