Saltram Edward Salter Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

Share

A beautifully captured regional statement of Cabernet Sauvignon, singularly intense and complex. Colour is dense, almost impenetrable. The perfume rises in dark berries and cassis and fragrant spices. Shows a trad Barossa Cabernet feel delivering ripe dark fruits, cassis, sweet roasting herbs, chocolate and a light savouriness, but, importantly, it is all finely expressed.  In many respects, Edward Salter offers the best of both worlds – its balance and integration means it is entirely open to being enjoyed now, while its deeply set tannins mean it is set for a lot more time in the cellar should you choose. Your choice.
