Seppeltsfield The Southing Shiraz 2020

Share

I believe this is the first time that Seppeltsfield have added a Southern Barossa Shiraz to their Grounds Range thanks to the character of the vintage. It is an approachable and deeply coloured wine and easy to like thanks to vibrant, fleshy fruits. Fruits of the forest, plum, fruit pastille and dark chocolate aromas are topped by blueberry and hints of violet that draw you in. That riper Southern Barossa style is then showcased by layers of sweet dark berry flavour, delivered with good intensity underpinned by supple tannins before driving through to a long, open-knit finish. A massive crowd pleaser to enjoy over the short to medium term.
