A nice example of Eden Valley Riesling, a variety that this region does so well. There are lots of floral aromas, with fairly typical lemony bath salts notes and a little appley character. The palate has an intense fruitiness, with a fairly typical lemon-lime combination. The acidity is fine and precise, sustaining the linear mouthfeel. An interesting addition was about 6% Chardonnay, which has contributed to the wine’s texture and structure. Best suited to drinking in the short to medium term.
