A specially selected, all Mendoza clone variation in the estate’s Chardonnay program, crafted to showcase all the bigger characters of the style via whole bunch pressing, wild ferment in 30% new larger oak barrels, the best of which are then chosen for a limited-edition release after 10 months maturation. It’s a show-stopper Chardonnay in anyone’s language: full tote flint to start, richer white peach fruit senses, and cleverly painted backdrop of oak-derived spice. It’s a no-holds barred wine that already has been highly rewarded on the show and judging circuit.
