Silkwood The Bowers Sauvignon Blanc 2022

A fine Savvy from the Pemberton region in Western Australia, with fruit sourced from a single vineyard. The colour is a pale shining lemon hue. The immediate impression from the nose is a wine full of gooseberries. As we move past that, we have a mix of the herbal and grassy, with some tropicals with notes of passionfruit and citrus emerging. A gentle hint of minerality provides the backing. There is decent length here too and a clean, crisp finish. Drink now for the next two to three years. This is another wine making a good case for Pemberton as a source of good Sauvignon Blanc.
