Sorby Adams Le Verrier Shiraz 2021

Share

It’s hard to beat Barossa Shiraz in a good year. This displays all that was good, no, very good, in the ’21 Barossa vintage. Apparently, Le Verrier is the ring of Neptune, and apparently mathematician, one John Couch Adams, along with a few other numbers types got his slide rule and log tables out and proved the existence of Neptune. Back to the wine. Presents with elegance and smooth refinement with plenty of dark berry fruits, coffee and mocha characters and ample supporting integrated oak. It’s rich and dark with great concentration that saunters effortlessly to a long finish.
