Sordo Barolo Monvigliero 2020

Share

From one of the Verduno commune’s best loved vineyards, this deep ruby toned wine is immediately captivating , serious Barolo aromas suggesting dark Merchant cherry with a backing chorus of savoury elements – cola, graphite and faint potpourri. These all continue their path into the palate that has a remarkable sense of completeness – grape flesh, energised fruit and a peppery note as well. Everything works together, measured in weight and drive, tannins integrated, almost foundational. A wine which thrills at every sip, playing out with remarkable length. All class with plenty of excitement from start to finish.
