Sordo Ravera 2019

Ravera is near the southwestern reaches of the Barolo zone, exposed to cooling breezes from the nearby Cottian Alps. Generous and dark-fruited profile here; dark cherry, dark plum, aniseed and blood orange layered with suede leather, rust and Chinato spice. Ripe and round on the palate, supple tannins interplay with sour cherry acidity. It’s approachable, generous and delicious, with plenty of fuel in the tank!
