Lou Miranda Fierce III Sagrantino 2019

Share

This Umbrian variety seems well suited to warmer Australian vineyard regions. There’s a lot going on in this terrific generously appointed sagrantino, that captures much of what this grape variety is about. Aromas of coffee, plum and thyme with a floral perfumed note over the top. The palate is rich and lavish with soft tannins and plush fruit characters. It’s had 27 months in older American oak, which sits so comfortably within. Excellent wine for current drinking although it has further potential.
