Southern Light Vineyards Ghostgum Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024

Top notes of paprika and pimiento suggest some whole bunch, and they settle into red cherry, wild strawberry, cinnamon and smoke. Some star anise and flickers of blood orange with air. The palate is lifted and bright, with pimiento spice quickly followed by red cherry, red rose, rhubarb and smoky paprika. Nice chalky tannin structure and fresh acidity bringing a refreshing finish of solid length. Lifted and bright, with bunchy complexity and a frame of solid structure. It glides along with balance and finesse.
