It was sourced from an 84-year-old block in the famous parish of Kalimna, benefiting from a late cooler vintage which has suited this elegant and seductive style. Power in abundance, but the bright energy of the nose and palate brings a degree of elegance and refinement. It’s a wine that flows effortlessly to a long finish with its engaging mix of blackberry and plummy fruit merging with a chocolate, spicy dried herb combination. A supreme example of old vine Barossa Shiraz.
