It’s clear Riesling is an obsession with the entire range of Pewsey Valley Riesling being of the highest quality and astonishingly economical pricing. Case in point is this sub $30 estate wine that unfolds with the crispness of fresh A4 paper. Baby’s breath, apple blossoms and lime skin. Its driving acidity unravels over time, making for a wine that doesn’t feel sharp or shrill. There is a reason we say Jesus drank Riesling it’s pure, fine and ethereal. I feel more angelic already. Drink with sliced cucumber and a goats cheese dip. Or cellar for another 10-12 years.
