St Johns Brook Shiraz 2024

A most impressive Shiraz from Margaret River. The colour is a gloriously vibrant dark purple. On the nose, we have notes of plums, white pepper, dark cherries, sage, spices, black fruits and chocolate. A little oak which is deftly handled. This is a powerful style, yet it is well balanced and the texture is supple. There are fine if slightly firm and drying tannins, and impressive length. Early days for this wine but it will surely improve over the next ten to twelve years and provide pleasure along the way. Lots to like here.
