Shows classic Margaret River depth and the lifted aromatic appeal of the region’s number one red grape. Think briar, acacia and leafy scents mixing effortlessly with black fruits, blueberry notes, aniseed and spice capped off with an alluring layer of violet. Medium bodied, not heavy in the least, and fashioned in fine tannins with a brambly kind of savouriness that adds that little bit of extra interest. Keeps an almost linear presence throughout, good line and length here, and nicely balanced. Plenty to like and enjoy now and then some.
