Paracombe Plateau Pinot Noir 2021

Share

Fruit is sourced from the original family vines planted in 1983. Seasoned in French oak for 24 months. Wild cherries, rhubarb and red plum. Rosella and rosehip. Autumnal leaves, sweet tobacco and red clay. There are savoury tones to the oak with cassia bark, cedar and mace spice. Acidity carries the red fruit heart forward and tannins are fine and supple. A stately style of wine with an ornate shape and palate weight. Drinking well now and would be a fitting match for a confit duck leg.
