Sticks Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2019

Sticks is that dependable mid-week Yarra Valley Pinot Noir. Year in and year out the wine it is a go-to Pinot that has all the bells and whistles you’d expect from an early drinking Pinot Noir – red fruits, earth and spice in a silky package.

The 2019 vintage has been kind to Sticks making for a fleshy, fruit-filled wine. It is pale in colour but don’t let that put you off with pretty floral, raspberry and cherry fruits plus touches of mushroom and pepper. It is also light-weight and supple on the palate with fruit fresh, youthful and lingering plus the stuffing to stand up to some duck pancakes.
