Streicker Ironstone Block Old Vine Chardonnay 2022

Takes the drinker directly to the beaches of Margaret River with the scent of sea spray and the ocean, sunny and bright – the Gingin clone delightfully at work – with honeysuckle aromatics, citrus and background stone fruits topped with apple. Builds steadily in the mouth, enhanced with a lees-induced nuttiness, oatmeal and nougat. A solid, textural chardonnay quite potent in concentration and focus. Acidity brings structure, tying the individual parts firmly to each other. A delightful wine.
