Sweetwater Semillon 2024

Share

More than your young average Semillon, the 2024 Sweetwater provides some of the yellow and green citrus but alongside some tropical and orchard fruit generosity. Marigold blooms, cantaloupe and pineapple. Acidity refreshes the palate but without the dramatic shrillness of its natural youthful zest. Some cashew oil and notes of buffalo grass, this is ideal for drinking now but will cellar another 6-8 years, changing shape and form in its due course. For now, drink with fried zucchini blossoms filled with goat’s cheese.
