A very impressive example of Orange Chardonnay here with powerful fruit beautifully handled to provide a complex and generous expression of the variety. There is a pale youthful colour before pristine and precise aromas of citrus and melon take hold with riper nectarine plus touches of oatmeal and spice, barrel ferment and maturation. It’s then quite reserved on the palate but with great fruit tension and bite, the fruit tightly wound and highly complex before building to a long and flavoursome finish. Excellent balance will see this wine improve in the bottle over the medium term. Top knotch Orange Chardonnay.
