Swinging Bridge Caldwell Lane Block G Pinot Noir 2021

Share

Made with fruit from five different clones of Pinot Noir and this wine shows it with impressive complexity in a delightfully restrained package. There is attractive generosity of dark cherry, earth and five-spice fruits with reserved oak in the background. It’s then light in weight, elegant and perfumed, a supple and moreish style of Pinot that is quite savoury on the palate with stalky/spicy complexity before a long, bright finish. Well composed, it is ready to go now but also will continue to drink well over the medium term.
