Swinging Bridge Hill Park Chardonnay 2018

Share

This is the Swinging Bridge flagship Chardonnay picked from the best blocks of their Hill Park Vineyard. Everything has been thrown at this wine and it shows with lots of complexity but just lacks quite the best precision and focus thanks to the vintage, but a great effort nonetheless that will please fans of Chardonnay with generous levels of flavour. The aromas are immediately complex, citrus and florals with a nice line of praline plus well-balanced high quality oak. A fleshy, open-knit palate follows – this wine is ready to go – with layers of ripe fruits underscored by quite fine acidity. It’s a crowd pleaser for sure well matched to classic roast chicken.
