Taylors Jaraman Pinot Noir 2022

An aromatic style of Pinot from the Yarra Valley, the wine spent nine months in French oak barrels, ranging in age from one to four years. An attractive pale garnet/crimson colour here, the nose exhibits cherries, herbs, spices, violets and vanilla. Briary notes, red fruits and animal skins with some oak integration evident. Pleasing sappy notes and more cherries on the palate, there is good grip and focus with a lingering finish. Decent length and an attractive line of acidity. Will provide plenty of pleasure over the next half dozen years.
