From the Italian Dolomites comes this lovely white blend that will please both the Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc drinker.
This Terlan Nova Domus 2017 – a blend of Weißburgunder, Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc grown on sandy stony soils boasts a nose of ripe brown pear, yellow apples and white flowers, with a palate that is both steely and oily. It’s fleshy, coats the mouth with salty mineral components whilst showing lots of fruits too.
Thanks to the Sauvignon Blanc, the wine has lovely citrus notes with some honeydew melon. The Chardonnay has this voluptuous appeal and the Pinot Blanc gives a backbone of fine acidity. Excellent match with this delicious prawn risotto!
