Terra Felix Barossa Valley Shiraz 2018

2018 has long been recognised as a classic year in the Barossa. The juice spent time on skins, before maturation for 22 months in a mix of new French and American oak. An inky maroon, near opaque colour. Notes of leather, beef stock, aniseed and soy. Cloves, redcurrants, chocolate and warm earth. A seductive texture, the wine has a sweet core of cassis and chocolate. Very sleek tannins, good length and intensity maintained. Quite delicious already, it will continue to provide pleasure for at least another decade.
