Terre à Terre Crayères Cabernet Franc Shiraz 2019

Share

The second release of this blend, though they have had Cab Franc dominant wines previously. It is 68% Cabernet Franc and 32% Shiraz. A similar winemaking process to the other Crayères red blends, though just 11% new French oak is used here. Deep maroon in colour, there are herbal notes plus a mix of spices backed up by appealing dark chocolate and darker berries. Nicely balanced with bright acidity, there is a delightful freshness to it and very good length with that acidity contributing to a lovely vibrant finish. A mid-weight style with more red fruits, notably red cherries, emerging on the palate, and blending well with the darker tones. 750 six-packs.
