The Lane Gathering Adelaide Hills Riesling 2023

Share

Think the Adelaide Hills is exclusively Chardonnay country? The Gathering range from The Lane Vineyard looks to other white grapes suited to the region, and Riesling is a natural. The style is intended for early drinking, but as it is wedded to some pretty keen acidity, it could go a little longer in the bottle. The wine is all lime cordial and lemon intensity and summery florals with some arresting lychee, snow pea and gai choy. Picked early, it’s brisk and citrus keen with some attractive dusty lemon depth to the middle palate. Finishes with a nice edgy, clean, full stop of acidity.
