An unusual rosé blend comprising Pinot Noir (80%) and Merlot (20%), but the vinous odd couple certainly do the job. An eye-catching tea rose colour sets the scene for a lively tasting experience. Confection, musk, fairy floss scents rise from the glass together with summer fruit notes of cherry, raspberry and strawberry. It hints at a summer fruit bounty before one tastes. Juicy, delicious and dry – as a good rosé should be – it nicely combines Pinot’s red berries, Merlot-like rose and spice with a touch of smoothness across the tongue. A versatile rosé to be enjoyed with or without food.
