Makes a big Sauvignon statement, the Adelaide Hills giving any region in Australia a run for its money when it comes to intensity of Sauvignon Blanc fruit characters. Here, they are incredibly concentrated and striking to the senses. Aromas of acacia, lemon myrtle, jasmine, florals, citrus and herbs, green bean and hay. Nails the style with bright lemon citrus, green apple, herbs and tart grapefruit pith. with an arresting savoury layer of lemon myrtle and acacia. A gentle oak mealiness, courtesy of six months in French oak, adds to the textural quality of the wine, a nice counter to the austere acidity on display. Riveting stuff.
