Thorn Clarke Brut Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay NV

Six months on lees for this very pleasant, easy drinking Eden Valley sparkler, a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The original parcels enjoyed discrete fermentation and subsequent blending, before the refermentation. Elegantly packaged, there are notes of toast, nuts, red fruits and citrus, hints of raspberries and lemon butter plus a touch of sweetness which broadens on the finish which has a pleasing soft texture and decent length. This is attractive drinking, now and for the next couple of years.
