Tin Shed Melting Pot Shiraz 2021

Share

Very savoury upon first smell – tomato soup, then pea soup, then beef stew. Time in glass then leads to a welcome unfurling of dark plum, smoke, lacquer, dusty oak, and camphor. The palate is soft, round and mouth filling, with dark plum, blackberry, pepper spice and game meat before a zing of brisk acidity asserts itself over the fruit, reigning in its momentum. There are fine tannins in support, too, bringing a bitter dark chocolate finish. Soft and juicy with a savoury profile.
