Tread Softly Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2020

Share

Tread Softy is part of the changing face of winemaking around the world with sustainability a key part of the offer. It has minimal preservatives, was made from sustainably grown fruit and also is naturally lower in alcohol, thanks to picking grapes on the early side. A great concept that in this case has turned out a bargain pinot noir, which can be found a whole lot cheaper than the usual asking price of $22.

Light in colour, it’s a pretty and fun pinot with raspberry and rose petal fruits plus a nice hint of spice. That easy-drinking style continues on what is a light weight and refreshing palate with mixed berry fruits, crisp acidity and supple tannins. It’s an interesting pinot for the price and also would suit a light chill before downing a glass or two by the pool this Summer.
