Ubertas Barossa Valley Project D Shiraz 2020

Share

Coming from 50-plus-year-old vines, the Project D is full flavoured, with a bountiful nose and mellifluous palate, showing ripe cassis, mulberry, raspberry, some vanilla from the oak, and dried black fruits and dried herbs. Like the Single Vineyard, it’s concentrated but with more refinement. It’s still a baby so my score reflects the fact that it should improve even more with a few extra years of bottle age, but it’s already very enjoyable.
