An opaque maroon with a nose offering blackberries, florals, hints of mulberries, aniseed, leather, cold tea, bay leaves and cassis. Ripe in style with an understated but evident line of fine acidity. A wine of medium length, this will provide pleasure for the next six to eight years. Put simply, this is just a really good drink.
