Wynns Childs Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

From a very fine vintage in Coonawarra, Wynns choice for their single vineyard wine this release is from the Childs Vineyard, located on V&A Lane, which was planted back in 1969. It is a follow up to the 2012. Maturation was in a range of different sized French oak with 30% of the barrels new. The colour is a dark gleaming purple. Oak integration is proceeding immaculately and we have notes of blackberries, licorice, spices, mocha, plums, herbs and mulberries. An elegant style with early complexity, finesse and length, there is fine acidity and supple tannins with a persistent finish. Enjoy this over the next ten to fifteen years. A fine addition to the Wynns Single Vineyard range.
