Vasse Felix DHJ1 Chardonnay 2022

Share

The 2022 DHJ1 is a beautifully built wine, and if it were a man, I’d date him! It is elegant, eloquent, and completely unfazed. Jasmine, grapefruit, mandarin oil, lemon sherbet, and nectarine. The unique Wallcliffe plot truly is a beast of its own—wild and complete. The acidity is taut, tensioned, and salty, framing the wine nicely. Lemon pith and crushed crystals—for a Margaret River Chardonnay, it is light on its toes—I love this wine! Decant and drink now, or stash it away for a decade. Your call!
