Water Wheel The Estate 2024

Sweet vanillin and coconut oak lead the perfume before dusty cedar, earth, plum, blackberry, bay leaf and cracked black pepper emerge. Ripe, opulent and generous. The palate follows in kind — ripe plum and blackberry interspersed with pepper, grilled meat, vanilla and mocha. Big, bold and richly structured, with ripe tannins providing the frame and carrying bitter dark chocolate tones through the finish. Concentrated and broad-shouldered, with oak notes aplenty; this is unapologetically Bendigo in style, and those who love it will find plenty to celebrate here.
