Wild Folk Natural Pinot Noir 2023

Another Yarra Valley Pinot Noir which is very much along the natural lines – wild yeast fermentation, unfined, unfiltered, nothing added, vegan friendly and preservative free. The aim is a drink now (or soon) style, full of flavour. The colour is a deep garnet. Hints of the herbals here, with cherries, mushrooms, animal skins, mulberries, spices and red fruits backed by fine acidity, good balance, silky tannins and excellent length, so lots to like here. Certainly a joy now, but you could hold on to it in good cellars for three to four years.
