2021 is turning out to be a cracking vintage for Clare Valley Riesling across the board and here is another example with delicious purity of vibrant fruits. Pale in colour, it’s a well pitched and elegant version with layers of grapefruit and pithy citrus with more than a touch of stony complexity. Dry, crisp, light weight and refreshing, the palate is a little more exotic with some tropical fruits before an elegant, spicy finish making salt and pepper calamari an ideal food match.
