Based on a Solera system with each blend containing the last 3 vintages, Rösler (50%) x Syrah (40%) x St. Laurent (10%), with each component undergoing a different winemaking approach then blended to make this deep coloured rosé, with notes of compressed watermelon, dried cranberries, green strawberry salad with a citrus tang and some celery freshness echoing. So much energy here, and so elegant, fleshy and detailed. A wine that can keep for a few days with notes amplifying giving a sense of a vinous journey to its drinker. Notes of rhubarb persist with sour cherries, tangerine and lots of pulpy citrus tang keeping this wine in constant motion. A must if you love rosé.
