Pinot grigio (aka gris) grapes have a bronzed-grey skin colour that can impart a natural pinking into the wine. Here a short time on those skins has given this a fashionably very pale tone to the free run juice, in the glass lifting with baked rhubarb and apple aromas, while in the mouth the feel is crisp and refreshing, a touch of spice and pink grapefruit tang finishing dry and moreish. Good summer splashing.
