The Sleeping Dogs Lie Barossa Red in a unique wine style from this famous region. In fact, I doubt you’ll ever find another bonvedro, mataro and graciano blend anywhere in the world and in this wine it is the Spanish bonvedro grape that shines through.

The wine is savoury from top to bottom – with brooding gamey and spicy aromas underpinned by more traditional Barossa mulberry and baked earth. In the mouth it is incredibly juicy with fleshy dark cherry and spicy fruits driven by firm underlying acidity and supple tannins. Overall it has personality plus which with its acidity make this wine best matched up with a hearty lamb stew.
